Several years ago, Leonard Stock was watching a police pursuit on television when he saw innocent motorists hurt in the aftermath. The images stayed with him that night. He woke with a clear idea for what became the Grappler® — a moment he has always seen as more than coincidence, and one he felt a duty to act on.
Within a week, he welded a prototype to the front of his truck. He talked his wife, Frances, into driving the getaway car — the family Suburban — and they tested it on a desolate desert road. That day, the concept proved itself.
Today, every Grappler® Police Bumper is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the Phoenix area. As a proud American company, Stock Enterprises knows lives can depend on this product. That is a responsibility the team takes seriously.
